With all our efforts wholly dependent on God, we make disciples across all ages; every stage of life has a portion in the church.

Classes

As Christians, we’ve been called to make disciples of all nations. If you want to know more about the story we’re caught up in, join us for a 10-week class that will open your eyes to God’s heart for the world. You’ll hear from mobilizers, missionaries, and others who will encourage you as you explore taking part in what the Lord is doing from our neighborhoods to the nations.

In this four-week class, Brian Walck and some of TVC’s mobilizers will teach on how to integrate work and mission. No homework or materials are required for the class.

Our hope is to see more than 50,000 individuals reached by the gospel through our campuses, church plants, revitalization efforts, and missionaries.

Sending Program

Through our Sending Program, we equip and send people from all walks of life to reach the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Missional Community

The Missional Community is a 9-month experiential training community and assessment required for those wanting to be sent overseas by TVC. In this training, participants must apply and be accepted before being placed in a group. During the 9 months, MCs will simulate team life among the unreached. Participants are asked to move to a specified area in the metroplex and are assessed on their character, calling, and skills. Based on this assessment, they are then recommended for placement on a preferred team. This training emphasizes both the theology around elements of the missionary life, as well as tangible practices (such as teaming, abundant prayer, abundant harvesting, abundant living “with” one another, etc.).

Mobilization Staff

Through our Sending Program, our mobilization team finds, equips and helps send long-term laborers and leaders within our body area to reach the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Advocate

Advocacy Teams

If you are looking for ways to get involved with our missionaries, consider being a part of an Advocacy Team. An Advocacy Team is one of the most tangible expressions of our church’s commitment to support our missionaries. This team is a small group of individuals who utilize their time, skills, and resources to help coordinate our church’s support and encouragement of one of our missionary units (single, couple, or family).

These individuals are some of the primary links between the missionaries and TVC and they serve as a source of relationship and representation within our church body stateside.

Provide Resources

Most of our missionaries sold the vast majority of their possessions when they moved overseas and have been physically disconnected from this area for a while so there are tangible ways we can bless missionaries when they are back in the States.

Whether it’s through loaning a vehicle or a place to stay, toys or bikes for kids, or even offering a service - like a haircut or chiropractic services - there are ways we as the Body of Christ can bless and resource our sent ones.

Giving financially is an incredibly way to invest in God’s work all around the world. It was the generosity of people around Jesus that empowered His work (Luke 8) and the generosity of the early church that empowered the spread of the Gospel in Acts.

We are offered the same invitation - be part of the spread of the Gospel through generously giving financially.

All through the New Testament we see the church playing a vital role in the spread of the Gospel through prayer. There are many ways you can begin to intercede for the nations and for our missionaries and thus play a crucial role in the story we’re caught up in.
