Life Story
I was born and raised in San Diego, California, and had the distinct blessing of being brought up in a Christian home. At the age of 7, I accepted Christ as my Savior and soon after I was baptized by my grandfather in our family’s home church.
From the biblical training at home and church, coupled with attending a private Christian school, I was well versed in Scripture and in Christian practices. While I trusted in Christ for my salvation, it was not until my college years that my relationship with Him fully developed into a personal one.
During a season of loss, I found my faith challenged. In the midst of grief, questions about God’s goodness and faithfulness were hard to answer. However, He remained steadfast, continuing to draw me to Him and mending my heart with His peace and love.
Having moved to Texas in 2014, God graciously directed me to The Village, and I found the solid, biblical truth and encouraging community He would use to continue to challenge and refine me. Daily I am grateful and in awe of His guiding hand that has led me thus far and will continue to follow where He leads.
Hope for The Village Church
My hope for The Village is it will continue to be a place where hurting, lost and broken souls will meet the redeeming love and all-sufficient grace of the Savior.
