Life Story
I was born in St. Louis but grew up in Flower Mound. When I was 11, my family came to The Village, and I immediately joined in with everything the Student Ministry was doing. Anytime the doors were open, I was there! The Lord was so faithful in my seven years here in the Student Ministry to graciously teach and show me what it looked like to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am especially grateful to all the men who served as my small group leaders and youth pastors—I am better because of them.
After high school, I moved to Chicago for seven years of incredible, adventure-filled, freezing cold theological education. While there, I attended Moody Bible Institute for undergrad and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for seminary. At Moody I met Anu, the love of my life, and decided I’d be an utter fool to not marry her! Anu and I were married in July 2018 and spent our first two years of marriage living in Evanston, Illinois, while I finished up seminary and worked as a barista.
We crossed the Red River back into Texas in the summer of 2020, and we couldn't be more excited and grateful to be members of this church family!
Hope for The Village Church
My hope is that we would be a family of believers who love one another, proclaim the lordship of Jesus Christ, and embody a faithful presence where God has placed us—always eager to walk in evangelical and ecumenical charity.
